Itinerary

We'll be awaiting your arrival to Marrakech airport, we'll spend the day at the riad to relax and prepare for the long adventure ahead across Morocco.

After breakfast in the Riad , the day is to explore the red city Marrakech is probably best known for central Djemma El Fna with its juice stalls, dried fruit and nut stalls, women applying henna, snake charmers, story sellers and the myriad of nightly food stalls. You will visit the following places according to time and inclination: the Majorelle Gardens which belonged to Yves St Laurent and is famous for its special shade of blue, the Koutoubia Mosque, El Bahia Palace which means “the palace of the beautiful'', the Quranic School, the Ben Youssef Medersa which used to house some 80 Qoranic students and the Saadian Tombs. You spend another night in your riad.

Morning departure at 8 o’clock from your hotel or riad in Marrakesh to cross the High Atlas Mountains. After the Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side road to the Telouet Kasbah, which belonged to the Lords of the Atlas, the Glaoui family, and which now stands in ruins after the last Pasha fled the country, following the departure of the French. O there you continue for lunch at Ait Ben Haddou along the newly asphalted connecting road. This is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, which we visit after lunch. After visiting the Kasbah, you continue to Ouarzazate, where you spend the night

After breakfast, you will continue south to Agdez, the head of the Dra’a Valley, where you can visit the oldest Kasbah in the valley. A little further south at Tansikht you turn east and follow the long line of Bani Mountains towards Merzouga. We stop for lunch at a riad in N’Qob, overlooking the mountains. Later we pass through Tazzarine, featured in the film “Babel” and reach the Guest house Berber Nomad kasbah for the night , where you will be greeted with a glass of tea. After you have settled a little, you take a mules ride for the children and walk in Saghro Mountains for 2 hours there to enjoy the sun go down over the mountains , followed by dinner and the night in the family guest house

After breakfast, you will continue south to ressani , the head of the Ziz Valley . A little further south at Tazarine you turn east and follow the long line of Bani Mountains towards Merzouga. We stop for lunch at Rissani town , where you can visit the market . Later we pass through hamada ston desert , to reach the bivouac in Merzouga, where you will be greeted with a glass of tea. After you have settled a little, you take a camel ride to watch the sun go down over the dunes, followed by dinner and the night in a nomad tent

After breakfast, you will go all the way round the dunes via the oasis of MERZOUGA, the nomadic depository, KHAMLIA village (Blacks’ village You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations, you’ll leave for Rissani. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu in Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and cloths. After lunch at Noura restaurant to try a berber Pizza then we go to have Mottos ride and back to the tents after you can enjoy a bit walk to the dunes and the sunset .or it’s possible to arrange a Quades experience in dunes

Early in the morning, your camel man will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Over the dunes, you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes - changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in your riad, you will start travelling to Fes via the Ziz Valley and Azrou. You will enjoy the fascinating landscape along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi n’ Talghamt Pass to Midelt. After lunch, you will continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Cedar Forest, where you will see the Barbarian apes in the wild. Continue to Fes

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour in Fes which is the oldest of Morocco’s four “Imperial Cities”. The medieval city of Fes El Bali, or “Old Fes” remains complete and is unspoiled. During your tour of this part of the town, you can visit the exotic Bou Inania Medersa, the Medina and the Kairaouine Mosque, where you may take photos of the wonderful courtyard from the main gate as well as the famous soukhs. In the afternoon you can visit Fes El Jdid, or “New Fes” and the Museum of Moroccan Arts. The night is spent in the hotel.

After breakfast in your riad, you will start travelling to Meknes where we will visit a part of this imperial city the to Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins, which are spread over a wide area and afford beautiful views over the valley and hills. a partly excavated Berber city in Morocco situated near the Meknes city . After lunch, you will continue travelling into blue city of Chefchaouenith the first views of the Rif mountains there is enough time. after get back to the to reach Chefchaouen for the night in a riad.

After having breakfast in the riad we walk through the blue city of Chefchaouen in the morning for a picture opportunity.After excursion to akchour waterfall and back to sleep one more night in the Chefchaouen blue city.

After the breakfast in the riad a Chefchaouen , take to visit the of the city during the day once more and after we drive to Rabat the political apital where the king family lives in a royal palace , on the our way we stop to visit the sightseeing places if we have time if we do it the after . Over night Rabat n a hotel.

Departure at 8 o’clock in the morning when the driver from Rabat passing by Casablanca the economic capital and to visit the mosque is second open for foreigners to visit in Morocco . After we take highway to Essaouira passing thousands of Morocco-specific argane trees on the way to this blue and white, very individual, sea-side town and port. Essaouira is many tourists’ darling! Previously known as Mogador to the Portuguese inhabitants, it is a charming place, well- known for local handicrafts, especially thuja wood furniture, carving and small artefacts, sold in innumerable shops along the windy streets. At the sea front, the customer chooses a selection of freshly caught fish to have prepared on the spot. Essaouira has a favourable micro-climate; mild in winter and cool in summer, although frequently windy, which makes it very popular among surfers.

After having breakfast in the riad in Essaouira, we have a walk through the medina of Essouira and in beach before we drive back to Marrakech. After that relaxing after the long trip anyone who wants to have massages and to try a Moroccan hammam and massage we can arrange that for you
